I just uploaded the complete text from Melquist’s affidavit, sworn to in court in October of 2007. These are his own words under the influence of a lawyer.

In 2003-2004, I had my own experiences with Troy Melquist and RedCellX. I hired RedCellX, through my company, to design and build a tablet-pc that would be the cornerstone of a cutting-edge software system I had conceived. A substantial payment was made up-front and the work was never completed. All I received were some sketches.
Later, I came across the site TroyMelquistSucks.com, realized this guy is a career criminal and I had absolutely no chance of ever recouping my funds because there were many others before me. So, I chalked it up to experience as a first time entrepreneur and kept it moving.
But…Troy Allen Melquist should never be allowed to start a business again. He belongs in jail.
Is this the same guy?

Curious: Yes, that’s him. Versions of that article popped up all over AP sites right after the state of the union. I emailed the AP with info on Melquist, but never heard back from the article’s author.
I evicted him out of my house on 7/3/2006 and I wont civil charge for the default rent and lawyer cost. Now I hire collection company to get money back but they could not locate him. Seems he is using wife’s bank account.
Does anyone know how to chase him ?
